A social music platform built around what you listen to.
Version 1.0 · Effective September 7, 2026These terms are the agreement between you and Livil. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use Livil.
Livil is operated by Vamsi Vinay Kumar Bosara, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the operator, and "you" means you.
You must be 13 years or older to use Livil. If the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this without a parent's consent, you must meet that age instead.
You may hold one account, you must give accurate information when you create it, and you are responsible for what happens through it. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else is using your account.
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your tracks, videos, artwork, playlists, profile and messages. We do not claim your work.
To run the service, we need your permission to handle it. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for playback, and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving Livil. That licence covers the ordinary mechanics of a music app: storing your file, converting it for streaming, generating a waveform, making a thumbnail, and showing it to the people you shared it with.
We do not sell your content, license it to third parties, or use it to advertise anything without asking you first.
The licence ends when your content does. Delete a post or your account and the licence ends with it, except where a copy must be kept briefly in backups or where the law requires us to retain something. Content other people have re-shared may remain visible in their posts.
You promise that you own, or have permission to use, everything you upload — the recording, the composition, the artwork, and anything that appears in a video. Uploading someone else's music without their permission is not allowed on Livil, whatever the reason.
Do not upload it if you cannot answer "yes, this is mine or I have permission."
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Do not post, upload, or send anything that:
Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute other people's content from Livil, and do not use it to build a competing dataset or service.
Every post, comment and story can be reported from its … menu, and any account can be blocked from its profile. We review reports and act on them.
Content that breaks these terms is removed. Accounts that break them repeatedly, or seriously even once, are suspended or terminated. We do not require a warning first, and we do not owe an explanation for a removal — though we will usually give one.
If you own the rights to a work uploaded to Livil without your permission, email us with a link to the post, a description of the work, and confirmation that you hold the rights. We remove infringing content and terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe. Details are on our Support page.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → settings → Account settings, or as described at Delete Your Account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we must do so to comply with the law. We may also stop offering Livil, in whole or in part — we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Livil is offered free of charge and as-is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be available. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose — do not treat Livil as the only copy of your work.
To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to Livil is limited to INR 1,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Livil hosts content uploaded by its users. We do not endorse it, and we are not responsible for it, though we act on reports as described above.
We may update these terms. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Livil after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh have jurisdiction — except where the law of your own country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
