Delete Your Account

1. Delete From Inside the App

The fastest way to delete your account:

1. Open Livil and go to the Profile tab.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Confirm the action when prompted.

Your account is deactivated immediately and queued for permanent deletion. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you can no longer access the app, you can request deletion by email. Send a message from the email address associated with your Livil account to the address below with the subject line “Delete my account”, including your username so we can locate your account.

We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.

3. What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your profile — username, display name, bio, and avatar.
• Your email address and authentication credentials.
• Your posts and uploaded media (audio and video).
• Your social activity — likes, follows, comments, and playlists.
• Your listening history and preferences.

4. What May Be Retained

A limited amount of data may be retained for a short period after deletion where required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes — for example, transaction or abuse-prevention records. Such data is kept only as long as necessary and is then permanently deleted.

Content you shared that has been saved or re-shared by other users (where applicable) may persist outside of your account.

5. Retention Period

Account and personal data scheduled for deletion is permanently removed within 30 days of your request, except for the limited categories described in Section 4.
