What Livil is
Livil is where you listen to independent artists. Cover songs, raps, instrument solos, singers, bands, DJs — all made by real people, posted by them, and credited to everyone who played on them. You listen with friends, in sync, and discover artists through the people you know.
Independent music deserves a player, not a feed.
The best new music isn't on the charts. It's your friend singing a cover, a guitarist posting a solo, someone rapping into their phone. Real people, making real music. And right now, the only place you'll find them is a reel.
But a reel is built for swiping. Fifteen seconds, a like, the next one. The song never gets to finish, and it never gets to stay.
On the big streaming apps, an independent artist is invisible. No way in, no way to be found, nobody to talk to.
So we built the player those songs never had. Full tracks, front to back. A queue, a lock screen, a loop for the part you love. A song you sit with gets remembered. And because music is better together, you never have to sit with it alone.
